The University of Western Australia
Ferguson Architects has had a long association with the University of Western Australia both with building projects and masterplanning. Ferguson Architects’ first project for the University was the Law Building in1964 and our association continues today.
Gus Ferguson’s influence on the campus is well respected, having held the position of consultant architect for the University for many years, advising on both planning and architectural matters for the main campus as well as the Nedlands site and the Shenton Park campus.
Numerous masterplans have been prepared, including the 1990 and 2000 Campus Planning Reviews, comprehensive documents dealing with all campus planning considerations and presenting a development plan on which the University currently base their building programme.
